It’s a busy weekend for the Toronto Marlies (41-22-2-4) as they close out a three-in-three weekend as they hit the ice this afternoon against the Utica Comets (31-29-4-4) at 3pm. The last time these two teams met was this past Friday, where the Comets defeated the Marlies in a convincing 5-1 victory. The Toronto Marlies (41-20-2-4) are in Utica tonight to face the Comets (30-29-4-4) at 7pm for their fourth of six match-ups this season. The last time the Comets and Marlies met was on February 16th in a 2-1 Marlies loss.

The Comets last game was on Sunday where they defeated the Iowa Wild 3-2. Pascal Pelletier had a three point night, while goaltender Joe Cannata made 32 saves. The Comets currently sit in third place in the North Division and are 5 points out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
