Following a 52-save effort from Christopher Gibson to lead the Marlies to a 3-2 victory over the Comets in Utica last night, the Marlies return to Toronto to host the Comets this afternoon at 3pm at Ricoh Coliseum. It’s back to work for the Toronto Marlies following the AHL All-Star break as the Marlies are in Utica to face the Comets tonight at 7pm on AHL Live. This will be the 5th of 8 match-ups between the two teams this season. The season series is currently tied with both the Marlies and Comets collecting two wins against one another.

The Toronto Marlies are in Utica to take on the Comets at the Utica Memorial Auditorium at 7pm on AHL Live. This will be the fourth of eight match-ups between the two teams this season.

The Comets currently lead the North Division with a record of 17-5-3-0 and 37 points on the season. They’re coming off of a 3-1 win over the Rochester Americans on Wednesday evening, extending their current win streak to three games. The Toronto Marlies are looking to bounce back following a 4-1 defeat to the Hamilton Bulldogs at home on Friday night as they travel to Utica to take on the Comets at 7pm on Saturday.
