The Toronto Marlies (28-17-2-2) take on the Texas Stars (30-15-3-4) today for a special Family Day game at Air Canada Centre at 3pm in their final match-up this season. The Marlies are 1-2 against the Stars this season.

The Toronto Marlies fell to the Texas Stars by a score of 5-2 Saturday evening at Cedar Park Center in Texas.

Brett Ritchie opened the scoring for the Stars at 14:51 of the first period. The Marlies would tie it just 31 seconds into the second thanks to Spencer Abbott’s second goal of the season. As of Sunday, Toronto will play their fourth consecutive game at Ricoh Coliseum as they host the Texas Stars. After a big win in Houston yesterday, the Marlies look to do it all over again as they hit up Austin tonight.

Well maybe not exactly like yesterday. You see, the Marlies ended up scoring four third period goals in the come-from-behind win, as they started the frame down 4-2.
