The Toronto Marlies are back in action following the Holiday Break for their annual Boxing Day Classic presented by LEGOLAND Discovery Centre versus the St. John’s IceCaps. Puck drop is at 3pm at Air Canada Centre. Last time the Marlies and IceCaps met was on November 29th, where the Marlies were defeated 5-1 at Ricoh Coliseum.

The Toronto Marlies kick off their first game of five at Air Canada Centre this season today at 2pm as they host the St. John’s IceCaps on LeafsTV. This will be the third of twelve match-ups between the Marlies and IceCaps this season. In their last meeting, the Marlies completed a wild 9-8 overtime comeback over the IceCaps in St. John’s.

After the St. Johns’ IceCaps defeated the Marlies 3-2 in overtime the night before, the Marlies will have a chance for redemption as the two teams once again face off at 6pm on AHL Live. This will be the second of 12 meetings between the two teams this season.
