The Toronto Marlies (26-15-2-2) will be taking on the San Antonio Rampage (17-21-3-4) today at 11 am for their very first School Day Game this season. This will be the third of four match-ups between the Marlies and Rampage this season, with the Marlies collecting victories in the two meetings against the Rampage so far this year.

The Toronto Marlies (25-13-2-2) travel to San Antonio to take on the Rampage (17-21-24) tonight at the AT&T Center at 8:30 pm on TSN1050 Radio and AHL Live.

The Rampage are coming off of a 4-2 win over the Texas Stars on Wednesday evening. Goaltender Michael Houser made 44 saves in the victory. Vincent Trochek continues to lead the Rampage in scoring with 30 points over 41 games. The last time the Marlies faced the Rampage was in November, when the Marlies the defeated the Rampage by a score of 4-2.

The Toronto Marlies (9-7-1-0) are back in action tonight as they take on the San Antonio Rampage (9-8-0-1) at AT & T Center in San Antonio.

The Rampage are coming off of a 4-3 shootout victory over the Texas Stars on Friday evening.  Jed Ortmeyer scored the winner in the seventh round to give San Antonio their third shootout victory this season. Vincent Trocheck currently leads the Rampage in scoring with 18 points over 18 games. The Rampage currently sit 3rd in the West Division.

Toronto vs Texas - Ryan Hamilton

It may be four days and counting until Santa comes to town, but for the Marlies it’s only two.

Friday will be the club’s second last game ahead of the Christmas break, both contests against teams that – at least according to the standings – appear conquerable. The first, a rare Friday night contest at home, will feature a San Antonio team that presently resides in the league’s basement with only 23 points.

Conversely the Marlies, with two wins this weekend, could tie division leader Abbotsford.

First up, isn’t this pic incredible? It’s from a while ago, but it’s so good it is definitely worth reusing.

By now you probably know that the Marlies defeated the San Antonio Rampage on Saturday night in impressive fashion. Twice the team trailed by two goals, but first of the year tallies from Colborne, Scott, Kadri and D’Amigo lead the club to a 5-3 victory and a sweep of the Texan leg of this Royal roadie.

The last six periods have seen nine goals from the Toronto squad, the most yet over a two game span this season. On Saturday the Marlies will look to prove they can continue the upward swing and string together a third straight road victory.
