The Leafs rookies will close out the rookie tournament tonight as they take on the Ottawa Senators at 7pm in London, Ontario at Budweiser Gardens.

After defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3 in a shootout on Saturday night, the Leafs rookies remained perfect in their second straight shootout win of the tournament. The spring of 2008 does not seem that long ago. It was one that saw the Kitchener Rangers host the Memorial cup in the 90th anniversary year of that CHL trophy.  The Rangers were OHL Champions, going in the front door and hoping for a chance to capture junior hockey’s most coveted prize.
