The Toronto Marlies will host their inaugural Star Wars Night tonight at 7pm as they face the Lake Erie Monsters on AHL Live. In partnership with Toronto ComiCon, the Marlies are encouraging fans to dress up as their favourite characters in a celebration of fandom to kick off Toronto ComiCon weekend. $5 from every ticket sold through Toronto ComiCon will be going to SickKids Foundation.The 501st Legion Canadian Garrison will be in attendance to meet with fans, with Star Wars themed programming and giveaways in-game.

It’ll be a Friday night road tilt for the Marlies as they take on the Lake Erie Monsters tonight in Cleveland at 7:30pm on AHL Live. This will be the second of four match-ups between the two teams this season. The last time the Marlies and Monsters met, the Monsters walked away with a 4-1 victory. Last year, the Marlies took the season series against the Monsters 5-3.

The Toronto Marlies are back on the ice this evening as they host the Lake Erie Monsters at 5pm at Ricoh Coliseum. This will be the first of four match-ups between the two teams this season.

The Monsters fell to the Hamilton Bulldogs 4-3 in OT on Saturday evening in Hamilton. Sami Aittokallio made 41 saves in the loss. This will be the last game for a three-in-three for the Monsters, who sit last in the Midwest Division.
