The Leafs rookies will close out the rookie tournament tonight as they take on the Ottawa Senators at 7pm in London, Ontario at Budweiser Gardens.
After defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3 in a shootout on Saturday night, the Leafs rookies remained perfect in their second straight shootout win of the tournament. Brad Ross notched the winner in the shootout for the Leafs while net minder Christopher Gibson picked up the victory. Defenceman Matt Finn left the game in the first period with a shoulder stinger and his status for tonight’s game is still in doubt.
2013 draft pick Antoine Bibeau is expected to get the start in net tonight.
