The Battle of Ontario rematch is set for tonight at Copps Coliseum as the Toronto Marlies (16-9-2-1) travel to Hamilton to take on the Bulldogs (13-14-0-4) at 7:30 pm on AHL Live.

It was only yesterday that the Marlies and Bulldogs last faced each other in the Boxing Day Classic at Air Canada Centre. This was the third year that the two teams met on the big stage on Boxing Day, with the Bulldogs taking the 2-1 victory in overtime. Greg Pateryn scored the winner in OT 3:53 into the extra frame. T.J. Brennan notched the only goal for the Marlies and continues to lead the League in points for a defenceman. Drew MacIntyre made 38 saves and was named first star. Despite the loss, the Marlies continue to hold onto top spot in the North Division with 35 points. Hamilton currently sits in fourth place with 30 points.

Puck drop is at 7:30 pm ET, catch all of the action on AHL Live. Don’t forget to follow the official Marlies Twitter account (@TorontoMarlies) and join us for the #MarliesLive live chat.
