The Toronto Marlies (15-9-1-1) take on the Charlotte Checkers (12-15-0-1) in the second game of a back-to-back series this afternoon at Time Warner Cable Arena at 12pm. This will conclude the season series between the two teams this season.

The Marlies defeated the Checkers last night in a 3-1 victory. Tyler Biggs, Spencer Abbott and Brad Ross notched goals for the Marlies while Zach Boychuk tallied the lone goal for the Checkers. The loss ended a 4 game winning streak for the Checkers. Currently, the Marlies lead the season series 3-0. With the loss, Charlotte drops to fourth in the West Division while the Marlies take sole possession of first place in the North with the victory.
