The Toronto Marlies are back in action this afternoon at 3pm as they host the Hamilton Bulldogs at Ricoh Coliseum. This will be the first of 12 match-ups this season between the division rivals.

Both teams are coming off of road losses on Friday evening. The Bulldogs were in Lake Erie taking on the Monsters where they lost 3-2 in a shootout. Defenseman Greg Pateryn currently leads the team in scoring with 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists.) The Bulldogs are currently 4th in the division with a record of 1-0-0-2 over 3 games.

The Marlies fell to the Americans 4-1 on Friday evening in their first road game of the season. Wade MacLeod scored the lone goal for the Marlies while T.J. Brennan extended his point streak to 4 games with an assist on the goal. The last time the Marlies faced the Bulldogs was during a pre-season match-up in Cobourg on September 28, 2013 where the Marlies won 2-1.

Roster Update – 12:02 pm: The Leafs have reassigned Carter Ashton, David Broll and Trevor Smith to the Marlies. All three will be joining the Marlies in time for the game this afternoon.
