The Toronto Marlies and Utica Comets will once again face off today at 3pm at Ricoh Coliseum. On Saturday, the Comets edged out the Marlies by a score of 2-1 in the Marlies home opener. This will be the 2nd of 8 meetings between the two teams this season.

Welcome back, Marlies fans!

The Toronto Marlies will be opening up their 10th anniversary season at Ricoh Coliseum on Saturday at 3pm when they host the Utica Comets, AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks. This will be the first of eight meetings between the two teams this season, and game one of a Thanksgiving Weekend double-header between the two teams.

Ruy Lopez is the name of the Spanish priest who almost 500 years ago thought them up and presumably beat everyone for a long time before no one would play him anymore.
