Anybody who’s been down to a Toronto Marlies game knows how much fun they are, especially for families. Starting this Sunday, October 19th, every Sunday Marlies home game will be a Family Funday Sunday.

In addition to taking in an exciting Marlies hockey game, a Family Funday at Ricoh Coliseum includes:

Family centric in-game programming, featuring everybody’s favourite mascot Duke the Dog
The first 1000 kids will receive a Marlies cinch bag that includes a hockey stick pen and an interactive activity book

Making changes and moving bodies is the work of an American League team. The story about moving up like Stuart Percy is always more enviable to tell than the story of players going the other way. The other way, just like those who come from the NHL, seems to bring with it an air of failure. This isn’t the case most of the time but it helps for folks who aren’t invested fully to understand better when you say demoted instead of re-assigned.

The Toronto Marlies and Utica Comets will once again face off today at 3pm at Ricoh Coliseum. On Saturday, the Comets edged out the Marlies by a score of 2-1 in the Marlies home opener. This will be the 2nd of 8 meetings between the two teams this season.

Welcome back, Marlies fans!

The Toronto Marlies will be opening up their 10th anniversary season at Ricoh Coliseum on Saturday at 3pm when they host the Utica Comets, AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks. This will be the first of eight meetings between the two teams this season, and game one of a Thanksgiving Weekend double-header between the two teams.
