The Toronto Marlies (12-7-1-0) are in Lake Erie to take on the Monsters (10-9-0-1) for a divisional match-up tonight at 7pm. This will be the third match-ups between the two teams this season. The last time the Monsters and Marlies met was on November 14th, where the Marlies fell to the Monsters 3-1 in Cleveland.

The Monsters are coming off of a 4-1 loss to the Hamilton Bulldogs on the road Saturday night. Paul Carey scored in the first period to give the Monsters the 1-0 lead, but the Bulldogs would respond with 4 unanswered goals for the victory. The Monsters currently sit fourth in the North Division.

The Marlies last game was also on Saturday, when they hosted the Rochester Americans in a 3-2 win. Sam Carrick scored his third goal of the season while John-Michael Liles and Tyler Biggs also notched goals for the Marlies. The team enters tonight’s contest against the Monsters having won three games in a row and sitting first in the North Division.
