The Toronto Marlies (42-23-2-4) are in Syracuse to take on the Crunch (29-30-4-6) tonight at 7:00 pm in their final match-up this season. The last time these two teams met was on January 3rd at Ricoh Coliseum where the Marlies were defeated by the Crunch 6-3.

The Crunch currently sit last in the East Division with 70 points and are coming off of a 3-2 shootout loss to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at home on Friday night. Brett Connolly leads the team in scoring with 51 points and has collected points in eight of his last nine games.

This will be the second game of a busy three-in-three for the Marlies. The team is coming off of a 3-1 loss to the Rochester Americans at the Blue Cross Arena on Friday night. Josh Leivo tallied the lone goal for the Marlies. Tonight’s match-up against the Crunch will be game 2 of a 5 game road trip for the Marlies, and the final match-up between the two teams this season.
