The Toronto Marlies will look to rebound from a 4-3 loss to the Abbotsford Heat on Saturday evening as the two teams will face each other once more tonight to conclude their weekend series in Abbotsford.

The Marlies and Heat battled one another less than 24 hours ago in a close game. The Marlies fought their way back from a 3-1 deficit to tie it heading into the third period, but could not seal the victory as Michael Ferland would notch the eventual game winner on the power play for the Heat. With the victory, the Heat extended their winning streak to six games, with each victory being decided by a single goal. Spencer Abbott and Trevor Smith both recorded two assists in the loss and extended their respective point streaks. Abbott’s current point streak stands at 10 games while Smith’s is at five.
