The Toronto Marlies (41-20-2-4) are in Utica tonight to face the Comets (30-29-4-4) at 7pm for their fourth of six match-ups this season. The last time the Comets and Marlies met was on February 16th in a 2-1 Marlies loss.

The Comets last game was on Sunday where they defeated the Iowa Wild 3-2. Pascal Pelletier had a three point night, while goaltender Joe Cannata made 32 saves. The Comets currently sit in third place in the North Division and are 5 points out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

The Marlies are coming off of a 6-4 victory at home against the Abbotsford Heat this past Sunday. Six different Marlies tallied for the team, while Drew MacIntyre earned his 27th victory of the season, setting a new franchise record for wins in a single season for a goaltender. The Marlies can make history tonight, as a win would secure them their third straight playoff berth and North Division title.
