The Toronto Marlies will be hosting the Grand Rapids Griffins tonight at 7pm at Ricoh Coliseum. This will be the 2nd game in a 10-game home stand for the Marlies and the final match-up between the two teams this season.
The last time the Griffins and Marlies met was on December 31st in Grand Rapids where the Marlies defeated the Griffins 3-1, going undefeated against the team so far this season.
The Griffins last game was a 4-0 shutout loss against the Lake Erie Monsters on Wednesday at home. Teemu Pulkkinen leads the team in scoring with 40 points over 47 games played. The Griffins currently sit atop the Midwest division with 62 points.
The Marlies last game was also on Wednesday, in a 5-4 shootout win against the San Antonio Rampage in front of over 7800 students and teachers for their first school day game of the season. Jerry D’Amigo had two goals and also scored the shootout winner. In addition to D’Amigo, Spencer Abbott and T.J. Brennan also had a multi-point game with two assists a piece.
