The Toronto Marlies (28-15-2-2) welcome division rivals the Hamilton Bulldogs (21-22-0-4) to Ricoh Coliseum this afternoon at 3pm for Round 10 of 12 of the AHL’s Battle of Ontario. The last time these two teams met was on January 24th, where the Marlies defeated the Bulldogs 2-0 in Hamilton. The Marlies currently sit first in the North Division with 60 points, while the Bulldogs sit third with 46.

The Bulldogs are coming off of a 5-4 win in overtime over the Binghamton Senators last night at Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa. After going down 3-0 to the Senators early in the game, the Bulldogs managed to tie it up with Jarred Tinordi scoring the winner in overtime. Maritn St. Pierre leads the team in scoring with 31 points over 44 games.

The Marlies are coming off of a 4-1 victory to the Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday evening, completing the sweep in the season series. T.J. Brennan scored his team leading 20th goal of the season and also became the first AHL defenceman to score 20 goals in a season since Johnny Boychuk in 2008-2009.
