The Toronto Marlies (9-6-1-0) are in Texas to take on the Texas Stars (9-6-2-2-) tonight at the Cedar Park Center. The last time these two teams met was on Sunday, November 17th when the Marlies defeated the Stars 3-2 in a shootout. After 10 rounds and 20 shooters, Sam Carrick notched the winner for the Marlies.

This will be the second game in as many nights for the Stars as they dropped a 4-3 shootout loss to the San Antonio Rampage at home on Friday night. Travis Morin currently leads the team and the League in scoring with 26 points over 15 games. The Stars currently sit second in the West Division behind the Abbotsford Heat.

The Marlies are coming off of a 3-2 victory over the Charlotte Checkers at home on Tuesday night and currently sit atop the North Division. Troy Bodie scored the game winning goal in that contest with his first goal with the Marlies this season.
