The Toronto Marlies are back in action this afternoon at Ricoh Coliseum as they host the St. John’s IceCaps today at 3pm.

Last night, the IceCaps were in Hamilton taking on the Bulldogs where they lost 3-2. They currently sit second in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference with a record of 1-1-1-0 over 3 games. Eric O’Dell leads the team in goals with 4.

The Marlies last game was on Sunday, October 6th versus the Lake Erie Monsters where they skated to a 5-1 victory.  Defenceman T.J. Brennan was named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the week ending on October 6th, with 6 points over 2 games and is currently leading both the team and the League in points. Brennan will be presented with the award prior to the game this afternoon.

Last season, the Marlies went 6-1-1 against the IceCaps. Their last meeting was on April 21, 2013 where the Marlies won 4-3. This will be the first of four match-ups between the two teams this season.
