Tonight, the Marlies (4-1) are back on the ice hosting the Rockford IceHogs (4-2-1) at 7pm at Ricoh Coliseum. This will be the first of only two match-ups between the two teams this season, and the only one at home for the Marlies.

The IceHogs were in Hamilton on Tuesday evening taking on the Bulldogs where they lost 5-4 in overtime. Forward Mark McNeill scored twice in the loss and is current second in team scoring with 7 points over 7 games. Defenceman Adam Clendening currently leads the IceHogs in scoring with 9 points over 7 games. The IceHogs are currently first in the Midwest division with a record of 4-2-1.

The Marlies last game was on Sunday afternoon where they defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs 2-1. T.J. Brennan notched an assist in the game, extending his point streak to 5 games while Carter Ashton scored his first goal this season with the Marlies that would eventually become the game winner.
