The Toronto Marlies (17-10-2-1) will once again meet the Grand Rapids Griffins (22-7-1-2) this time back indoors at the Griffins’ home arena at Van Andel Arena at 6pm ET.

Yesterday, the Marlies and Griffins faced off against each other at Comerica Park as part of the SiriusXM Hockeytown Winter Festival where the Marlies edged the Griffins 4-3 in a shootout. Carter Ashton had two points on the night including a goal and an assist. Spencer Abbott registered two assists and a goal in the shootout, while Greg McKegg had an assist, a goal in the shootout and was also named the game’s first star. The win marked the second victory for the Marlies in an outdoor game.
