After defeating the Texas Stars by a score of 2-1 in Game 6 last night to tie up their Western Conference Final series 3-3, the Marlies have forced Game 7 which is set for Tuesday night at 8:30pm ET in Texas.

The Marlies opened the scoring for the 13th consecutive game on Monday. Carter  Ashton scored his third and fourth goals of the playoffs with two tallies in the victory. Peter Holland also had two points with two assists. Curtis McKenzie scored the lone Texas goal on the powerplay late in the third period.

Texas outshot the Marlies 37-25, with Drew MacIntyre stopping 36 of 37 shot. The Marlies went 1-for-4 on the powerplay and 7-for-8 on the penalty kill.

      I don’t get the games but I am following everything. This is awesome. They are playing great. It’s times like this I wish sault Set marie was a little closer to Toronto so that I could watch these games.
