The busy three-in-three weekend continues for the Marlies as they return home following a 7-1 loss to the Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday evening to host the Texas Stars at 3pm on RogersTV. The Toronto Marlies have another busy weekend ahead of them with three games in three days, starting on Friday evening in Grand Rapids versus the Griffins. This will be the second match-up for the two teams this season. The last time the Marlies and Griffins faced off was on December 2nd at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, where the Marlies defeated the Griffins 4-2.

After a 4-3 OT win over the Utica Comets on Friday evening, the Marlies three-in-three weekend continues as they host the St. John’s IceCaps today at 3pm at Ricoh Coliseum. This will be the third of four match-ups between the two teams this season.

The IceCaps are coming off of a 4-1 loss to the Providence Bruins on Wednesday. With a record of 10-12-5-1, the IceCaps sit in fourth in the Atlantic Division. John Albert currently leads the team in scoring with 19 points over 28 games.

The Toronto Marlies are in Utica to take on the Comets at the Utica Memorial Auditorium at 7pm on AHL Live. This will be the fourth of eight match-ups between the two teams this season.

The Comets currently lead the North Division with a record of 17-5-3-0 and 37 points on the season. This Sunday, December 14th at 3pm versus the St. John’s IceCaps, we’re asking fans to bring a new or gently used stuffed animal to the game. The Toronto Marlies close out their busy three-in-three weekend with an afternoon tilt against the Rochester Americans on Sunday afternoon at Ricoh Coliseum. This will be the fourth of 10 match-ups between the two teams this season.
