This will be the second of four match-ups between the two teams this season. The last time the Marlies and Monsters met, the Monsters walked away with a 4-1 victory. The Toronto Marlies will take to the ice for their very first School Day Game of the season as they host the Grand Rapids Griffins today at 11am. The Marlies will be welcoming students from the Toronto District School Board in support for the Toronto Foundation for Student Success. This will be the third game of a four-game series between the two teams, with the series currently tied for the two teams with one win apiece.

Following a 52-save effort from Christopher Gibson to lead the Marlies to a 3-2 victory over the Comets in Utica last night, the Marlies return to Toronto to host the Comets this afternoon at 3pm at Ricoh Coliseum. It’s back to work for the Toronto Marlies following the AHL All-Star break as the Marlies are in Utica to face the Comets tonight at 7pm on AHL Live. It’s another busy three-in-three weekend for the Marlies as they’re on the road in Rochester to take on the Americans tonight at 7:05pm on AHL Live for the fifth of 10 match-ups between the North Division rivals this season.

Happy Holidays! The Marlies return to the ice following their holiday break to host the Hamilton Bulldogs in their annual Boxing Day Classic at 1pm at Ricoh Coliseum. Marking the seventh of 12 match-ups between the two teams this season, the Bulldogs currently lead the season series 4 games to 2.

The Bulldogs last hit the ice on Sunday, December 21st versus the Texas Stars where they defeated Texas 5-2. Jake Dowell had the game winner while Dustin Tokarski, sent down from Montreal on a conditioning stint, made 29 saves.
