The Toronto Marlies (42-24-2-4) are in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to take on the Penguins (42-23-3-5) to close out a three-in-three weekend. This will be the second and final match-up between the two teams this season. The Marlies and Penguins faced off on March 9th at Ricoh Coliseum where the Marlies fell 4-3 in a shootout.

The Penguins are coming off of a 2-1 victory over the Binghamton Senators on Saturday evening that officially clinched the team a berth in the 2014 Calder Cup Playoffs. With 92 points, the Penguins currently sit atop the East Division.

It’s been a busy weekend for the Marlies, who dropped their second game in a row with a 6-3 loss to the Crunch in Syracuse on Saturday night in a game that saw several fights and penalties from both teams. The Marlies will look to right the ship this afternoon against the Penguins in the third game of their 5 game road trip.

Puck drop is at 4:00 pm ET, catch all of the action on AHL Live. Don’t forget to follow the official Marlies Twitter account (@TorontoMarlies) and join us for the #MarliesLive live chat.
